Basketball Recap: San Marcos Academy Takes a Loss

San Marcos Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 39-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders. The Bears were not able to make up for their loss to the Crusaders from their previous meeting back in December of 2021.

San Marcos Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Round Rock Christian Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-8.

San Marcos Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Live Oak Classical at 3:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Round Rock Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-37 defeat against New Braunfels Thunder on the 14th.
