Baseball Recap: Seymour's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Seymour fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Naugatuck on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 4-1 to the Greyhounds. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Wildcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Having lost for the first time this season, Seymour fell to 2-1. As for Naugatuck, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Seymour will head out on the road to take on Pomperaug at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Naugatuck, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Crosby at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
