Soccer Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mountain View can now relate to. They came up short against the Perry Pumas on Tuesday, falling 4-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Toros in their matchups with the Pumas: they've now lost six in a row.

Mountain View's goal came courtesy of Diana Cota-Ruiz, who's now up to nine this season.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Perry, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Mountain View didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Williams Field on the 18th. As for Perry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Desert Mountain on the 13th.
