Basketball Recap: Biggsville West Central Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Addison Burrell and Addie Seitz

Biggsville West Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 62-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Galva Wildcats. The Heat were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 64-43.

Addie Seitz and Addison Burrell certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Seitz posted 16 points, while Burrell earned ten points. The dominant performance gave Burrell a new career-high in points.

Biggsville West Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Galva, their victory bumped their record up to 5-21.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Biggsville West Central will take on Brimfield at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Galva, they will head out to challenge Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Galva surely won't give up without a fight.
