Basketball Recap: Fort Defiance Comes Up Short

Fort Defiance won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Monday. They lost 78-53 to the Central Woodstock Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Indians have suffered since February 9th.

Fort Defiance's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Central Woodstock, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Fort Defiance will take on Riverheads at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Riverheads knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Fort Defiance likes a good challenge. As for Central Woodstock, they will welcome Rappahannock County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
