Baseball Recap: St. Augustine Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but St. Augustine ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the John Curtis Christian Patriots 2-1. This was payback for the Purple Knights, who suffered an 8-5 loss the last time these two teams met.

St. Augustine's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Jackson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Jackson is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.
