Harker Heights won against Shoemaker on Tuesday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Knights beat the Temple Wildcats by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-2. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and only one walk). Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
