Halstead not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since December 14, 2024 (when they won 80-53). Everything went their way against the Central Christian Academy Lions as they made off with a 68-48 win.

When it comes to explaining why Central Christian Academy lost, don't look at Jace Luckner. Despite the final result, he shot 86% from beyond the arc en route to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Lattimore, who posted 11 points.

The victory got Halstead back to even at 1-1. As for Central Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Coincidentally, Halstead and Central Christian Academy will both be playing Marion the next time they take the court. The Dragons will head out to face the Warriors on Tuesday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
