Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newfound Regional). They blew past the Berlin Mountaineers 70-28 on Tuesday. While the Bears didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Newfound Regional has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Berlin, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Newfound Regional will take on Hillsboro-Deering at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Newfound Regional is facing Hillsboro-Deering at the right time seeing as Hillsboro-Deering is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Berlin, they will square off against Kennett at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kennett will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Berlin surely won't give up without a fight.
