Puckett entered their tilt with Lake on Friday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 4-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-0 on Tuesday.

Puckett's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tim Axton, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Puckett's win bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Lake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-8.

Looking ahead, Puckett will head out on the road to face off against Sebastopol at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lake, they will host St. Andrew's Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
