Basketball Recap: Warren County Tech Comes Up Short

Warren County Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against Kearny Christian Academy, falling 69-47.

Kearny Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Leo Kargbo, who posted 29 points and five steals. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Kargbo has scored at least a third of Kearny Christian Academy's points. Joshua Lima was another key player, dropping a triple-double on 20 points, 14 boards, and ten steals.

Warren County Tech's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Kearny Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
