Volleyball Recap: Ethan Triumphs

Ethan's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Kimball/White Lake Wildkats by a score of 3-1. The Rustlers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildkats, too.

Ethan was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 20-25, 25-9.

Several Wildkats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sienna Gillen, who had 19 digs and six aces. Another player making a difference was Mariah Gosmire, who had six digs and two aces.

The victory got Ethan back to even at 1-1. As for Kimball/White Lake, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Ethan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on the 4th. As for Kimball/White Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Burke on the 4th.
