Volleyball Recap: Pine Comes Up Short

Pine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Cardinal Newman Crusaders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Pine still got an impressive performance from Juliette Swan, who had 13 digs and two aces.

Pine's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cardinal Newman, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Pine will face off against Berean Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cardinal Newman, they will square off against Palm Beach Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
