Strafford entered their tilt with Lockwood on Saturday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

While Strafford won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22.

Blair Bough paced Strafford's offense, picking up seven kills. Bough got some help from Ava Lane and her ten assists. Lane was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Strafford's victory bumped their record up to 13-1-2. As for Lockwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Strafford and Lockwood will both be playing Osceola the next time they take the court. The Indians will head out to face the Indians at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
