Soccer Recap: Johnstown-Monroe Takes a Loss

Johnstown-Monroe lost against Worthington Christian back in October of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Johnnies fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Johnstown-Monroe can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 250th, while Worthington Christian are ranked 73rd).

Johnstown-Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 10-7-2. As for Worthington Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-2-2.

Johnstown-Monroe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Worthington Christian, they will face off against Columbus Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Worthington Christian's defense better be ready for this one: Columbus Academy have averaged an impressive 3.7 goals per game this season.
