Baseball Game Preview: Chilhowie Warriors vs. Grayson County Blue Devils

The Chilhowie Warriors will challenge the Grayson County Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Chilhowie will be strutting in after a victory while Grayson County will be coming in after a defeat.

On Friday, Chilhowie made easy work of Marion and carried off a 15-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Goat: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 16 runs the game before, Grayson County was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 12-1 to Auburn. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Grayson County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Chilhowie, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Chilhowie was able to grind out a solid victory over Grayson County in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, winning 6-2. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
