Volleyball Recap: Palo Verde Comes Up Short

If Palo Verde was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Andrada Polytechnic last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans came up short against the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 25-13.

Palo Verde's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Mica Mountain, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season.

Palo Verde will head out on the road to take on The Gregory School at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mica Mountain, they will be playing at home against Sahuaro at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
