Baseball Preview: Indian Hills Braves vs. Mahwah Thunderbirds
For the second straight game, Indian Hills will face off against Mahwah. The Braves will challenge the Thunderbirds at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
Indian Hills took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 15-6 margin over Mahwah. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Thunderbirds recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Jack Birrer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits.
