It was a good run, but Allendale unfortunately witnessed the end of their 12-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the East Grand Rapids Pioneers by a score of 2-1. The Falcons were not able to make up for their loss to the Pioneers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

East Grand Rapids was led to victory by Heidi White and Mackenzee Stanley-Eldred. White had four digs and one block, while Stanley-Eldred had 14 digs and two aces. What's more, White racked up 36 assists, the most she's had over her last 12 matchups.

Allendale's defeat dropped their record down to 16-4. As for East Grand Rapids, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

Allendale will take on Lowell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Grand Rapids, they will square off against Ottawa Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
