Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Southmoore). They claimed a resounding  65-0 win over the Northwest Classen Knights. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the SaberCats' considerable advantage  in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Knights are ranked 215th).
Southmoore has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.4 points on average over those games. As for Northwest Classen,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-6.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southmoore will host Piedmont  at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 24th. The SaberCats will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 31  points  in their last three matchups. As for Northwest Classen, they will look to defend their home field  on  the 24th against Eisenhower  at 7:00  p.m. The Knights will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.71  points per  game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
