Recap: Grove City Greyhounds vs. Lincoln Golden Lions
The Grove City Greyhounds were the 66-64 winner over the Lincoln Golden Lions when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Grove City fell to Lincoln 76-71. Grove City just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Kraig Gilbert and Kevin Gallagher certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Gilbert scored 19 points, while Gallagher scored 19 points. Demitri Adado was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Grove City's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grove City will take on Westland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lincoln, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Hayes at 7:30 p.m. on February 10th. Hayes has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 323 points over their last five contests.
