Recap: Dora Falcons vs. Norwood Pirates
The Dora Falcons lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on on Tuesday was a bit more commanding. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 69-47 walloping at the hands of Norwood. Dora has not had much luck with Norwood recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Norwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carder Kelly, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kelly has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton McDaris, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Dora now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Norwood, their win bumped their record up to 17-9.
Dora does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Norwood, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-59 loss vs. Gainesville on the 22nd.
