            Softball Recap: Bloomfield Bobcats vs. Kirtland Central Broncos        
        
		
        
        
            Bloomfield extended their losing streak  to four  on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 6-17 in the process. They lost  19-3 to the Kirtland Central Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  16-10  last Tuesday.
 Bloomfield saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Elysse Smith-Oliver, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double. Another  was  Harley Rightmire, who  went 1-for-3 with one  triple and one  RBI.
As for Kirtland Central,  the  win  got them back to even at 12-12. The  victory was familiar territory for they, who have now won three  matchups in a row.
 On Kirtland Central's side,  Tanisha Thomas was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, four  runs,  and five  RBI while going 4-for-4. That's the most  hits  Thomas has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Paisley Mcgilbert, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI.
 Bloomfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  a  16-5  loss against Miyamura on the 24th. As for Kirtland Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  7-0  win against Aztec on the 24th.
