Volleyball Recap: Colquitt Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Community Christian Academy on Thursday, Colquitt Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Cavaliers came up short against Lighthouse Christian on Friday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Lighthouse Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Friday.

Colquitt Christian Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-22, 25-16.

Colquitt Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lighthouse Christian, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Colquitt Christian Academy will take on Family Homeschool Alliance at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Lighthouse Christian will be paying especially close attention to Colquitt Christian Academy's contest: after Colquitt Christian Academy faces off against Family Homeschool Alliance, they'll take on Lighthouse Christian again at 4:00 p.m. on the 15th.
