Baseball Recap: Garfield Comes Up Short

Garfield blew Franklin out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Franklin got their revenge. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Quakers by a score of 2-0. Considering the last time the Bulldogs couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Garfield now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Franklin, they pushed their record up to 5-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Garfield will head out to take on O'Dea at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin, they will venture away from home to challenge Lincoln at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
