Football Recap: Poly Triumphs

Poly won the last time they faced Fulton, and George Flores did his part to make sure it happened again. The Parrots claimed a resounding 36-0 win over the Jaguars for which the team can thank Flores, who threw for 283 yards and three TDs while picking up 12.3 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 72 yards and one score on only six carries. Those passing touchdowns marked the first that he has passed for this season.

Poly didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Justice Brown.

Poly's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Fulton, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
