6A Mt. Hood Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's  football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Travis Hull's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
 Starting off the list is Reynolds's  Travis Hull, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday  Hull made six total tackles, good enough to  also set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere:  he has now  rushed for 119 or more in the last four games he's  played dating back to last season.
 Hull might have his next game, a home matchup with Sandy, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time  Hull saw the Pioneers), he forced a fumble and made nine total tackles (2.0 for loss).

 Gresham was sadly handed a  defeat on Friday, but  Avery Lo did his best to prevent it. Lo was unstoppable, picking up 83 receiving yards.
 Gresham's loss was  their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-6. Lo will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Clackamas on Friday.

Payton Chhay Makes It Two for Reynolds
 Another Reynolds player making an appearance on this list is  Payton Chhay. He threw for 144 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 56 yards.
 This year,  Chhay  has thrown 7 touchdowns while averaging 127.5 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season,  he was only averaging 83  passing yards per game.

A Constellation of Stars for Reynolds
 Another Reynolds player making an appearance on this list is  Jamari Ballard. He picked up 56 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Micaiah Turin Makes Top Five
 Rounding off our Top Five is  Micaiah Turin of Sandy. Turin threw for 154 yards and a touchdown.
 Sandy's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 3-4. Turin and Sandy will head out on the road to  face off against  Reynolds  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
