Patrick Henry extended their winning streak to seven on Friday, bumping them up to 7-0. They blew past the Christiansburg Blue Demons, posting a 48-14 victory. Considering the Patriots have won five games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Leading Patrick Henry to victory were Damarion Perdue and Cam Hairston-Taylor. Perdue gained 78 total yards, while Hairston-Taylor picked up 67 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Patrick Henry's run defense was locked in: Christiansburg could only muster 3.3 yards per carry. The Patriots didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.1.

As for Christiansburg, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 192nd, while Patrick Henry is ranked 22nd).

Despite the loss, Christiansburg still got an impressive performance from Sean McMurray, who rushed for 95 yards and one touchdown.
