Northwest and Magruder are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. The Jaguars will face off against the Colonels at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Northwest came up short against Richard Montgomery and fell 55-48. The Jaguars have struggled against the Rockets recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Krishiv Ohri, who posted six points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kush Malhotra, who scored ten points.

Meanwhile, Magruder's game on Tuesday was all tied up 26-26 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They secured a 59-53 W over Wootton. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colonels.

Northwest better keep an eye on Zeke Dabbondanza. He was instrumental in Magruder's win, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards. Those 11 rebounds gave Dabbondanza a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Wilson, who put up 12 points and three steals.

Magruder's record now sits at 2-0. As for Northwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Northwest didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Magruder in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 60-55 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Colonels' Wil Dabbondanza, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 18 points and eight boards.
