Football Recap: North Paulding Wolfpack vs. Harrison Hoyas
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Paulding, North Paulding was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They skirted past the Harrison Hoyas 26-23. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolfpack also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.
James Skelly had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 179 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 114.7 rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was Tyler Niehr, who threw for 115 yards and a touchdown.
North Paulding was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 283 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.
Despite the loss, Harrison still got an impressive performance from Xavier Hill, who threw for 212 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 47 yards. Tc Washington was another key player, rushing for 70 yards and a touchdown.
