Recap: Glenview College Prep Mustangs vs. Imagine Prep Storm
The Glenview College Prep Mustangs won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Wednesday. They were beaten by Imagine Prep 93-7. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Glenview College Prep in their matchups with Imagine Prep: they've now lost six in a row.
Leading Imagine Prep to victory were Aaliyah Chacon and Bella Ernsberger. Chacon almost dropped a double-double on 28 points and nine steals, while Ernsberger dropped a double-double on 36 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ernsberger has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jaiona Allen, who scored 12 points along with six steals and five assists.
Glenview College Prep has not been sharp recently as the team has lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Imagine Prep, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.
Glenview College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Imagine Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ridgeline Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Imagine Prep is coming into the contest with five straight wins at home, so Ridgeline Academy is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
