Soccer Game Preview: Shadle Park vs. Cheney

The Shadle Park Highlanders will challenge the Cheney Blackhawks at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Shadle Park's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Monday, Shadle Park didn't have quite enough to beat Northwest Christian School and fell 4-3. That's two games in a row now that the Highlanders have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Cheney had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against Mt. Spokane on Friday, falling 5-1. The loss continues a trend for the Blackhawks in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Shadle Park now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Cheney, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
