Christ the King entered their tilt with Milton on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Milton Eagles 66-64. The win was all the more spectacular given the Royals' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 36th in New York, while the Eagles are ranked third in Georgia).

Christ the King now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Milton, they moved to 12-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Christ the King will face off against Mt. St. Michael Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Milton has already played their next game, a 48-46 victory against Parkview on the 17th.
