Volleyball Game Preview: West Lafayette Red Devils vs. Harrison Raiders

After both having extra time off, the West Lafayette Red Devils and the Harrison Raiders will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Wednesday, West Lafayette made easy work of Lafayette Central Catholic and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won nine in a row.

West Lafayette walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-10, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Harrison got the win against Kokomo on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Harrison was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-4, 25-10, 25-14.

West Lafayette's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Harrison, their victory bumped their record up to 19-5.

West Lafayette came out on top in a nail-biter against Harrison in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Raiders' Kaylee Swihart, who had 25 digs and six assists.
