Softball Recap: Tyler Knights vs. Valley Lumberjacks

In what's become a running theme this season, Tyler gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Valley Lumberjacks as the Tyler Knights made off with a 14-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Tyler.

The team relied heavily on Alexis Livingston, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Jahaila Gorrell, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Tyler's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

Tyler does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Trinity Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.
