Basketball Recap: Sweet Home Takes a Loss

Sweet Home was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 67-44 to the Cascade Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 216th, while the Cougars are ranked 20th).

Sweet Home's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Cascade, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sweet Home will take on Lebanon at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cascade, they will challenge Westside Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Westside Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
