Baseball Game Preview: Lakeside School Chiefs vs. Abbeville Christian Academy Generals

For the second straight game, Lakeside School will face off against Abbeville Christian Academy. The Chiefs will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Generals at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lakeside School has 12 straight wins, Abbeville Christian Academy has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Lakeside School's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Abbeville Christian Academy. Not much got past Boston Brown, who gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Abbeville Christian Academy off the board. Brown has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Tyler Mark Bullock was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Conner Britton was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Lakeside School was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .400 or higher in four consecutive contests.
