Volleyball Recap: St. Henry Falls Short Against Ranked Sacred Heart

St. Henry faced Sacred Heart in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Crusaders fell just short of the Valkyries by a score of 2-1. The Crusaders just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Despite the loss, St. Henry saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kenadi Sieg had 11 digs. Sieg has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

St. Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Sacred Heart, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.

Coming up, St. Henry will challenge Holy Cross at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sacred Heart, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Assumption on the 15th.
