It was a good run, but Edison unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 42-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harrison Central Huskies. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-44 back in December of 2024.
Harrison Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kara Blackburn, who posted 12 points and six boards. Lauren Doane was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to 11 rebounds and six steals.
Edison's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3. As for Harrison Central, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
