Basketball Game Preview: Colebrook Academy Mohawks vs. Lisbon Panthers

Colebrook Academy has gone 10-0 against Lisbon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Colebrook Academy Mohawks will head out to challenge the Lisbon Panthers at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Colebrook Academy has four straight victories, Lisbon has 22 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Colebrook Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Woodsville, who was ranked 23rd at the time (Colebrook Academy was ranked 11th). Colebrook Academy walked away with a 37-30 win over Woodsville on Friday. While the Mohawks didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Lisbon lost 34-14 to Moultonborough Academy on Friday.

Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Colebrook Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Everything came up roses for Colebrook Academy against Lisbon in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 57-13 win. Will Colebrook Academy repeat their success, or does Lisbon have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
