The Orange Panthers will take on the J.F. Webb Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Orange has four straight wins, J.F. Webb has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Orange's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Durham School of the Arts with a sharp 13-0 victory.

Cam Brown and Oliver Van Tiem were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Brown pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Van Tiem tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025. At bat, Brown went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Van Tiem went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Brown has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
In other batting news, Kayden Bradsher was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of J. P. Rodio, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Orange hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Durham School of the Arts struck out ten times.
Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for J.F. Webb's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to Cedar Ridge, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
J.F. Webb's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Orange, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
Everything went Orange's way against J.F. Webb in their previous meeting back in April of 2017, as Orange made off with a 9-1 victory. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
