Soccer Recap: D'Iberville Comes Up Short

D'Iberville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hancock Hawks. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

D'Iberville's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Hancock, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5.

D'Iberville will face off against Gulfport at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hancock, they will square off against Long Beach at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hancock is on a three-game streak of home wins, Long Beach a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch.
