Otay Ranch came tearing into Saturday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over The Cambridge School Griffins. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Griffins back in February, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Jackson Rosendale paced Otay Ranch's offense, picking up eight kills. Rosendale got some help from Royce Garcia and his 21 assists. Jhyneil Alivio controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Otay Ranch's win bumped their record up to 12-13. As for The Cambridge School, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Otay Ranch will welcome Sage Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for The Cambridge School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Victory Christian Academy on Tuesday. The Knights will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Griffins surely won't give up without a fight.
