The Sherman Oaks CES Knights will venture away from home to take on the Kennedy Cougars at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither Sherman Oaks CES nor Kennedy posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Sherman Oaks CES' offense might be in the hot seat on Monday considering what happened against Birmingham on Wednesday. They took a 6-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 422nd, while the Patriots are ranked 181st).

Meanwhile, Kennedy lost 26-6 to Panorama on Friday. The Cougars have struggled against the Pythons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Sherman Oaks CES, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
