Basketball Game Preview: Richfield Wildcats vs. Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs

Richfield is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They took down Union 55-41. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Judge Memorial Catholic posted their closest victory since December 13, 2024 on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Canyon View 62-59. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Judge Memorial Catholic's win came from a few key players Richfield will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was JJ Apathjang, who posted 28 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Judge Memorial Catholic's points. Another player making a difference was Longar Alor, who put up 17 points.

Judge Memorial Catholic's win bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Richfield, they pushed their record up to 19-5 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home.
