Soccer Recap: New Castle vs. Rushville
New Castle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They fell just short of the Rushville Lions by a score of 1-0. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
New Castle's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Rushville, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-11-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Castle will square off against Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rushville, they will head out on the road to challenge Madison at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
