Roosevelt extended their home winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Nisa Rivera. The Presidents were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the New Paltz Huguenots on Thursday thanks in part to Rivera, who had five aces and four digs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2 aces per game.

Roosevelt never let New Paltz on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-23, 25-21.

Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 15-5-1. As for New Paltz, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Roosevelt has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Ketcham on the 25th. As for New Paltz, they will square off against Our Lady of Lourdes at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
