After a string of four wins, Father Capodanno's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against the Sandhills Classical Christian Lions, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-11, 25-18.

Jersi Olsen was a one-woman wrecking crew For Sandhills Classical Christian. as she had 11 kills, five digs, and three aces. That's the most aces Olsen has posted since back in September.

Father Capodanno's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Sandhills Classical Christian, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Father Capodanno and Sandhills Classical Christian will both be playing Fayetteville HomeSchool the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Grunts will head out to face them at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
