Football Game Preview: Chancellor vs. Spotsylvania

After two weeks on the road, Chancellor is heading back home. On Thursday they will take on Spotsylvania at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.

Chancellor made easy work of Caroline last Friday and carried off a 58-27 win. That looming 31-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Chancellor yet.

Meanwhile, Spotsylvania brought a two-game winning streak into their matchup against King George last Friday; they left with a three-game streak. Spotsylvania walked away with a 35-21 victory over King George.

Their wins bumped Chancellor to 4-5 and Spotsylvania to 5-3. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
