Basketball Recap: Muckleshoot Tribal Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Muckleshoot Tribal waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They managed a 41-35 win over the Rainier Christian Mustangs. That's more bragging rights for the Kings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nola Russell, who posted 13 points. That was a full 37.1% of Rainier Christian's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Ava Fitzgerald, who earned 12 points.

As for Rainier Christian, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Muckleshoot Tribal wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 40-11 win against Quilcene on the 24th. As for Rainier Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 41-26 loss against Evergreen Lutheran on the 28th.
